Camp Lakota was founded in 1924 and for more than 90 years we have been providing the adventure of a lifetime for campers from all over the world ages 6-16. One of the reasons why so many families have attended Camp Lakota generation after generation is because of it’s great traditions.
Summer after summer, older campers and returning staff pass down the songs, games, and “traditions” that have been created by the generations before. As each camper learns the traditions of Lakota, they become part of our great “family” and this helps to form bonds that truly date back to 1924. Lakota has been a tradition for many families for three and four generations.
